I came home last Friday to a new front door!!
I was so ridiculously excited about the red front door.... it's going to look awesome with siding.This last week has been busy with progress... most of the PVC was done on the exterior of the house.. of course I don't have pictures of that, but I will be sure to get some.
The insulation went in, electrical rough in was finished, the HVAC unit was dropped off and part of it is in the attic now.
Yesterday was a bustle of activity. Jaxson and I were home later then usual because he had his yearly evaluation with Early Intervention so we got a front row seat. John was there to button up some things inside before drywall starts this week, a gaggle of men showed up all driving their own full size trucks with roof racks and equipment to start the siding. They showed up at 7:30, by the time the ladies came for Jaxson's evaluation scaffolding was set up on all four sides of the house and they were already putting up siding!

it looks like a complete different house!Dry wall was supposed to start today and the siders were back when we left this morning... thinking they'll be done today or tomorrow. Drywall is supposed to be done by September 1st... then the real fun starts... we get to do everything! Paint, flooring, tile .... anyone wanna come help?
